Chaging the air filters
Change the air filters when they appear heavily soiled or wet.
If the filter has turned red, replace immediately to avoid damage to
the Aquacut Quattro unit.
Make sure the handpiece is aimed into a basin or evacuation unit when
the unit is being turned on or off at the power switch.
For the continuing safety and reliable functioning of the Aquacut Quattro,
it is recommended that an annual service is booked through your supplier.
Replacement cartridge for breathing air filter - Part no I/FIT 8126P

Warning: Turn off the Aquacut Quattro unit at the power switch . Turn off the air supply at the wall outlet and disconnect the air supply inlet connections before attempting any maintenance.

Wait for 30 seconds after switching off until all air has been exhausted from the unit.

Ensure the unit is on a stable surface with adequate space behind
it to open the dust cover of main body fully. Operate the release
catch and open the main body.

Changing the air filters
Turn the filter pot lids anticlockwise to undo.

Remove the old filter and discard. Slide new filter into place and close filter pot lid, turning clockwise.
Close the main body firmly.
Replacing the pinch tubes
A system of pinched tubes controls the abrasive powder supplying the
handpiece. These should be replaced annually.
If the Aquacut Quattro exhibits an audible air leak from inside and
performance falls below standard, an abrasive tube may have split
near one of the pinch valves and must be replaced.
Open the main body fully as described previously.

Locate the pinch block and the four pinch valves.
Slide a flat head screwdriver behind the four ‘O’ rings and gently prise off.
Replacing the pinch tubes
Keep all four ‘O’ rings safe.
Slide retaining pins out completely. Note that the two lower pins are longer. The pinch valve may now be removed from its seating.

The abrasive tubes are connected using collet lock fittings.
To disconnect:

Push and hold the tube towards the fitting
Push in and hold the fitting collar
Pull the tube out of the fitting
Check that the correct coloured tubing connects to the correct pinch cylinders and powder dosing chamber pots. Incorrectly
fitted tubing will cause the machine to malfunction and could cause the wrong powder to be used at the handpiece.
Replacing the pinch tubes
Note: Each pinch valve and tube end is colour-coded to show the corresponding position and location of parts. Ensure that the replacement parts have the same colour coding before proceeding.
Matching the colour codes, refit the pinch valves in their corresponding seating positions and replace the retaining pins and ‘O’ rings. Push the tube ends into their correct positions.

Disconnect the ends of the tubes and discard all four pinch valves and tubes.
Close the main body firmly.
